I've been travelling for a week - on business.  In a hotel room, eating fried food, working 14 hour days, and sleeping less than 5.  And I came home.  Home to this:

And I say Happy Thanksgiving and Thank you to my family.  There is nothing like being away to make coming home so special.  Love you all!

What hasn't happened in the last 45 days?
We had the most amazing time up north for our vacation.  It was like summer knew we needed some special time just for the Soloy family to enjoy good weather, food food, and good friends.  We had incredibly amazing weather and an even better time.  These are the things that memories are made of.  We were missing a few members and we were thinking of them.

We have come into a new era at the starting of September.  Rowyn has a new room - no longer is the cute pastel green room with the sweet animal drawings on the wall and the mattresses on the floor.  Rowyn has had a huge upgrade - she got a new double bed including new bedframe, dresser and nitestand - which I totally didn't realize how much room these three pieces would need!  She's taken over my office and I've moved into her room which was the smaller of the two.  Rowyn's room is now a bright vibrant purple which Rowyn loves with a gigantic bed that will hopefully get her through until she's an adult (OMG sigh).  The office is a nice muted green that highlights the late afternoon sun coming through the windows although I keep walking into Rowyn's room looking for the computer! 

I've run a half marathon, started going back to school part time, and Brad's burried up to his knees in work.  Rowyn on the other hand is concerned about what Santa will bring her because now that it's fall, then comes Halloween (which she wants to be Belle for Halloween - only Belle, and I am suppose to be Cinderella and Brad Prince Charming - he said he WILL NOT carry a sword or wear a crown - I say "ok fun sherrif") and then comes Christmas.  We NEED to tell Santa what we want!!!!!  My response has been "Only good girls get presents from Santa".  How is that going you ask me? LOL - Ummmmm Santa reserves judgement to bring coal - kidding of course but SERIOUSLY!

All is well.  All is really well.  We're happy, healthy and enjoying.
