Nothing like a good underdoggie to finish the day!

Rowyn took a trip on the "big wheel" this weekend. It's taken Brad all 3 years and 11 months to get Rowyn to go with him on the 4-wheeler. I don't know who was more excited, Brad or Rowyn. Next stop - a proper helmet now that we know she'll go on it.

Bike Riding

We're on vacation this week and I've finally had some time to play with Blogger and play with my new camera! I was so frustrated with the dark, grainy shots that our old camera was getting I couldn't resist getting a new one. So we're equipped with a camera that I have no idea how to use. I'm having a lot of fun exploring and playing.



We've been trying since the spring to get Rowyn to get on her bike. I think she scared herself the first time she went whizzing down our driveway and has refused to get on it since. Yesterday I just happened to ask her if she wanted to go for a bike ride - thinking that I'd be pulling her on my bike in the bike trailer we have and she blurts out "Ya! On MY bike!" I grabbed the camera cause I knew Brad would never believe me that she got on a rode and got come nice pics. She didn't dump the bike until we were in the driveway again after our ride around the neighbourhood.

I had Kristine take a Pic of Rowyn and I. We seldom get pics together and I'm so glad Rowyn was in for one.

First's

The weather has been so nice here we were able to go to the beach last weekend when we went to visit Mom and Dad at the trailer. While the boyz worked, the girls took to the beach for some swimming and sand castle building. The water was amazing. Still a little brisk, but I think that has to do more with age and not want to get wet than the fact that it was cold. I was actually - pleasantly - surprised that the water was refreshing and we bobbed around in there for quite a while. Rowyn's teeth did start to chatter so out we'd get for a little warm up in the sun. Looking forward to spending more time in the water this summer!

I'm on the hunt for a new camera.... these pics are great but the quality not so much. I'd like to think it's the camera and not the user, but hey, you never know :)Camera suggestions welcome!


Rowyn had her first sleep over! Her friend Nathan came to hang out with us this weekend. He's a great kid and they get along so well. We did ALL KINDS OF THINGS. Walk, Park, Swing set, crafts, movies, played, books... And my plan was a success. Night time came and they were out like lights. I didn't sleep so well but the kids were out cold until 6:30 this morning! Gotta love it!
