For Christmas Rowyn received a few movies. They're great movies. Tinkerbell and Cars, Elmo and Seasame Street. We've been concentrating on the Elmo and Seasame Street. After a very wrestless day on Monday with it being Family Day and ALL of the stores closed and it being COLD AND NASTY outside, I broke the seal on Tinkerbell. Rowyn's very into pricesses and was excited to watch the movie.
Since then, we've heard nothing but "Mama! I wanna watch Jinglebells movie!" She had a great time enjoying the first 30 minutes and didn't want to come for dinner or take her bath.
I put the movie on this morning out of duress. It's Thursday, I'm tired, I'm late and I'm having a bad hair day...... I thought the movie would be a nice treat for Rowyn since she's been asking for it. So, I skipped to the last scene she saw thinking she could pick up the movie where it left off. I went into the bathroom to get ready and Rowyn promptly started to cry hysterically. I went to see what's wrong "It's TOO LOUD Mama! All done Jinglebells! I want Elmo on now!". I looked at the screen and realized that this was a very animated action part where Tinkerbell and her friends were being chased by the weed people. Ooops. Parental discresion AND supervision is recommended. We had watched the scene on Monday, but we watched it together. Not the same as watching by yourself at 6:45 in the morning I guess.
Needless to say, Elmo went on and everyone was happy (and I was very late for work).
