Bows, Flowers, and Sunshine

Adventures and memories are in the making. So many are happening faster than i can write them down. I want to remember these moments in time when everything was as perfect as it should be.
I got home from Austin on Mothers day weekend. My little bean had a "surprise" waiting for me. Surprises are a big deal in our house. Something that we've talked about a lot since I have to travel for work. When I'm away Rowyn always asks "Maybe you can bring me home a surprise Mum!". This time it was "Maybe you can bring home 3 surprises and a surprise for Daddy too!" (attago Brad, get your daughter to soften me up). Not only did Rowyn get lots of surprises, but Brad got a surprise too - a Weedwacker straight from the Lowe's in Austin Texas....Long story.
But I got the nicest one. Rowyn was so proud that she made this and it grew.

We had a baby shower for Auntie Mel a few weeks ago. Lot's of fun, cute outfits and good friends. I took the opportunity to get Rowyn to pose for me so I could snap a few pictures. She sure is growing up fast on us these days.

We are looking forward to Baby Lily making her appearance in about 6 weeks! I can't wait to hold a wee one again. Feels like it's been a while and I miss the little clothes and the baby smells.

Long weekend coming up! On the agenda:
1. Fixing the eye sore of a back fence and getting rid of the weeds the insist on spreading through my entire lawn
2. Spend some time digging in the dirt. More Flowers and planting our garden. Beans, tomatoes and according to Rowyn Cucumbers (which she won't touch with a 10 foot pole) are on their way! Some herbs and carrots too
3. Having a bbq and enjoying the sunshine - because it IS going to be sunny right!
