Some of these things just don't belong......

What a weekend. We're trying to teach Rowyn how to 'get herself to sleep'. What a challenge. We were originally on the right track when Rowyn was younger, and then Rowyn decided to take things into her own hands. Needless to say, there hasn't been much sleeping this weekend. The cry it out method is just not an option but neither is standing over her crib until she decides to fall asleep. We're trying for somewhere in between but don't know what. Any ideas are welcome!

Rowyn is on the move! She's learned that if she wiggles her bum when she's sitting she can move. She's also figured out that if she leans over far enough and gets her legs underneath her she can reach further and fall onto her stomach and reach even further. Any day now I'm expecting her to crawl. We need to be even more careful now because we leave her for a second on her mat and when we come back she's moved. Brad was able to install the baby gate at the top of the stairs this weekend so we're prepared for that.

Auntie Kristine came over on Saturday night to hang out with Rowyn while we went out visiting. It was nice to get out and be Brad and Karissa, not Mummy and Daddy. Rowyn was perfect for Kristine.

I found Khaos hiding under Rowyn's crib this morning during a thunderstorm. Notice the large truck sitting under Rowyn's table? Where did that come from?!


A snowmobiler on top of Rowyn's bookcase. I didn't even know she liked to snowmobile.
