The "Oh my GOD" Moment

We had an OH MY GOD moment on July 1st. Brad, Rowyn, Khaos, and I were visiting Grandma Anita and Grandpa Stan at the camp when it happened. None of us were prepared for this. We didn't even this it would happen. I guess that's what you get when you're not really ready or prepared for something to just occur.
Now that I think back on things, yes, I admit, it was something that was just waiting to be done.
What is it you ask?
We were opening birthday presents (a little early) for Rowyn at the camp and I was taking the box away from Rowyn because the cute little bike needed to be put together and had lots of small moving parts. And that's when it happened. Rowyn decided she wanted to play with the box and took THREE steps! Right there in front of all of us. It was amazing. I'm so elated that she took her first steps and Brad saw. I was really worried that he'd miss it. Bonus for us that Grandma and Grandpa were there too. She's taken quite a few steps on her own since then. The most was yesterday when we stoped at the trailer on the way from the camp. Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Andy watched her toddle over to the side of the deck as if she was on a mission.
11 months old almost to the day and my baby walked. Life is good.

Here's the video that we were able to capture. I was holding a pop can out in front of Rowyn for some incentive. This is about 5 minutes after she took her first steps.
